DELIVERY REVIEW: This restaurant surpassed all of my expectations! Today was my dad’s birthday and because we live in other cities, we were not able to be there to celebrate. So, I contacted the Humble Knuckles and placed an order over the phone for the Gobbler (Overgold Turkey breast, Swiss cheese, spinach, smoked bacon, and cranberry mayo on multigrain bread) with the Fruit Salad (pineapple, green apple, blueberries, and grapes with a honey lime dressing. This was delivered as a birthday surprise for my dad. The gentleman whom I spoke with over the phone was very patient, professional, courteous and understanding! Furthermore, the bonus “Happy Birthday” message that I requested to be added was an absolute plus! This to me is a perfect example of outstanding customer service and going the extra mile for your customers. Aside from the added bonuses, the food is a real treat and provided in abundance!!!! My dad was extremely surprised, happy, and very satisfied with his meal!!! I would definitely suggest the Humble Knuckles to anyone who is looking for something different or who is visiting the town of Tarboro! Thank you, Humble Knuckles, for taking the time to deliver to and surprise my dad for his birthday! We will definitely make sure we visit when we are in town!

That was a really good sandwich. Bread was perfect, meat was great, nice job with the toppings. Only suggestion - add a little more meat for the 15 price.

Walking in this restaurant, the atmosphere is very welcoming! The owner is very down to earth and has a very welcoming spirit. The food was delicious! I had the opportunity to try the gobbler which was a sandwich that put you in the spirit of Thanksgiving! With each bite, I gave thanks for the sandwich that was before me. I also had the fruit salad that was cold and good! This place is amazing and I definitely recommend people coming here!

UPDATE: 01/04/24 Stopped by one of my favorite spots today and tried the new Rice and Bean Special! It did not disappoint!! Savory Rice, Puerto Rican Style Pinto Beans served with Grilled Chicken and Fresh Avocado! This plate was loaded down, fresh ingredients, great taste and quality with a very affordable price! They have an extensive menu as well as daily specials and home baked desserts! If you haven't been you really need to try them out! Grade A Sanitation and the friendliest staff you could ever hope for!

One of the best restaurants in Tarboro! Such a hidden gem. The restaurant is tucked away beneath the coffee shop. The owner is amazing (so fun and knowledgeable in regard to food). Food is spectacular, too! Mainly a deli, but we were actually able to do a pizza making class which was incredibly unique and engaging. This is a must visit if you’re driving through Tarboro. Perfectly embodies the welcoming spirit of the town! Thank you, Anthony for the fun times!
